My name is Pam Kellett, the owner and founder of Santa Fe Dog Collars. I am an artist and jewelry designer, who for more than 15 years has been practicing her craft in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico.
My journey to Santa Fe has many twists and turns. I was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and early in my career worked as a print and radio journalist, television newsperson, weather person, call-in radio talk show host and magazine writer/editor.
Before settling in the Land of Enchantment, I worked for ten years in the Bahamas as an editor of several tourism magazines. There, I started painting in watercolors. Later, I realized the brilliant skies and spectacular landscapes of New Mexico called for the bolder brushstrokes and rich colors of oil paints.
Recently, I discovered my love of jewelry design, initially focusing on equestrian jewelry inspired by one of the great loves of my life, my horse, Tupelo Honey.
Now I am excited to introduce my collection of Santa Fe-inspired dog collars. My muse for this new direction is my tiny pup Sadie. She and I met at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Santa Fe Dog Collars was born out of my desire to find a high quality collar to fit Sadie’s whimsical personality while having a distinct Southwestern flair.
Everything I saw had a same-ness one always finds in mass-produced goods. Not for my girl!
Sadie is my number one helper although she does tend to spill the rivets and turn pieces of leather into chew toys. I love her anyway!
I feel so happy and privileged to share my unique, handmade collars with you and your best friend.
Pam
